The NSPCC's purpose is to end cruelty to children. Our vision is of a society where all children are loved, valued and able to fulfil their potential. We seek to achieve cultural, social and political change - influencing legislation, policy, practice, attitudes and behaviours and delivering services for the benefit of all children and young people across the UK and Channel Islands. In September 2008, the NSPCC launched its Child's Voice Appeal to answer more children's cries for help. Every day, thousands of children and young people need to talk to ChildLine about a problem they face, while hundreds of caring adults call the NSPCC Helpline, worried about a child's safety. With the help of people like you, ChildLine and the NSPCC Helpline are already there for thousands of children and young people, but many more need our help. We rely on the generosity of the general public to continue our work.
CHILDREN 1ST - the Royal Scottish Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Children - supports families under stress, protects children from harm and neglect, helps them recover from abuse and promotes their rights and interests.

SPAR's Dinner Parties- Cook for Kids
Help SPAR continue to raise money for their national charities NSPCC and Childrens 1st by hosting your own dinner parties for friends and families and asking for a donation from guests to these great causes.
In the last 4 years SPAR has raised over £2 million for the NSPCC and Children's 1st- thanks to our staff and customers- please help us as we continue to raise money for this worthy cause.
