The Hope Foundation For Cancer Research - Hope Against Cancer (The Hope Foundation) raises money to fund Cancer Research Projects in the Hospitals and Universities of Leicester and Leicestershire. Since 2003 the people of Leicestershire and Rutland have raised in excess of £3m, which has funded 29 Research Projects in many areas of Cancer. Youthful Hope was launched in 2009, with the aim at introducing teenagers to research programmes and highlighting key lifestyle factors that have strong cancer implications. In May 2012, Hope opened a Clinical Trials unit in the Leicester Royal Infirmary, the first of it's kind outside London, along with funding a Hope nurse for the unit. By supporting cancer research today we aim to develop effective treatments for the future. Where there's Hope, There's Life.
