Stretch for NASS

Fundraiser:

My page: http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/Stretch4nass

This year the theme for World Arthritis Day is ‘Move to Improve’ so NASS came up with the idea that people with AS could stretch to raise awareness and money for the charity. All funds raised will go towards a national branch development and support fund to help support all our NASS branches throughout the UK and create new branches so that more people with AS can access and benefit from the regular exercise sessions.

AS is a form of inflammatory arthritis that affects the spine. It is a painful progressive condition that if not diagnosed early enough or treated correctly can cause irreversible fusing of the spine. Drug therapy and exercise is the main treatment for AS with exercise being the single most important thing a person with AS can do to help themselves. Exercise increases flexibility and mobility, improves posture and sleep and reduces the stiffness and pain experienced by many people with AS.

Please dig deep and support the NASS branches!
