Over the weekend of the 1st – 3rd May 2015, a Sykes & Son team will be taking part in the halow250 challenge - a 48 hour, 250 mile cycle ride from Putney to Guildford via Northern France.

Sykes have taken part in the halow250 for the past three years, and this time around we have entered a team of 8 cyclists:

Managing Director, Andrew Burr;

Commercial Director, Chris O’Donnell;

Site Manager, Tony Adams;

Tower of London Site Manager, Chris Foot;

Yeoman Warder, Rob Fuller;

Building Surveyor, Andrew Cooch;

Accounts, Danny Matts;

Admin, Laura Neill

Now in its fourth year, the event has raised in excess of £100,000 for the amazing Guildford based halow.

The halow project is a wonderful charity dedicated to creating opportunities and supporting young people aged 16-35 with a learning disability so that they are able to live independent, meaningful, fulfilled lives and become more involved in their local community.

halow is determined not to be ruled by labels, and the young people they work with have a wide range of diagnoses, medical needs and issues that affect their everyday lives.

However, halow focuses on their talents, abilities and potential and continues to break down barriers every day and create opportunities for young people to live their life to the full.

100% of the money raised will support halow's young people in their journey to independence.

Please support this brilliant charity. For more information please take a look at the halow website: www.halowproject.org.uk

We really hope you can help to support this fantastic cause and give as generously as you can.
