Help For Heroes
Help for Heroes (H4H) was founded by Bryn and Emma Parry after a profoundly moving visit to Selly Oak Hospital in the summer of 2007. Bryn and Emma met some extraordinarily brave young people who had been badly wounded and they just wanted to do something to help. "It’s about the blokes, our men and women of the Armed Forces. It’s about Derek, a rugby player who has lost both his legs, it’s about Carl whose jaw is wired up so he has been drinking through a straw. It’s about Richard who was handed a mobile phone as he lay on the stretcher so he could say goodbye to his wife. It’s about Ben, it’s about Steven and Andy and Mark, it’s about them all. They are just blokes but they are our blokes; they are our heroes. We want to help our heroes."
The Fire Fighters Charity
The Fire Fighters Charity provides vital support services to fire service personnel and their families when they need it most. The Charity’s three specialist centres across the UK offer fire fighters the help they need to recover from injury, surgery or illness, so they can get back to their job of saving lives.
Breast Cancer Care
Breast Cancer Care is just a phone call or mouse-click away for anyone who is affected by breast cancer. Our free helpline, information-packed website and online forums offer a friendly ear and expert advice to those dealing with the turmoil of this life-threatening illness. Across the UK we also offer skilled emotional and practical support through a range of confidential, face-to-face services, helping people every step of the way. Visit www.breastcancercare.org.uk or call our free helpline on 0808 800 6000.

This winter we are rowing from La Gomera 3000 miles to Barbados, why?, to raise £100,000 for 4 charities. We are 2 Fire Fighters from South Wales, and this will be the challenge of our lives.

We are being seen in and around Cardiff Bay training at the moment, so give us a wave, and we are leaving for La Gomera (Canary Islands) on December 4th.

The jouney will take 3 months, we will encounter sharks, 40ft waves, tropical storms, and bad jokes(endlessly repeated)

And yes we will be doing it naked!
