Team Stan Run Bath Half Marathon

Fundraisers:
Clara Hebblethwaite,

My page: http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/team/teamstan

We are proud as punch to have completed the Bath Half  Marathon and thank you all for your wonderful generosity.

The support team who travelled down to Bath were just brilliant- holding babies, dogs and wearing their orange wigs as they cheered us on- without you we couldn't have done it.

Team Stan, you have been amazing. You are six wonderfully determined runners. Signing up, raising the money, motivating yourselves to train train train in the dark n rain. And with spectacular results.

Much love and thanks to you all, Clara

Team Stan was represented by PR guru Adam Lewis, his lycra'ed up wife Lisa, gritty Duncan Laurie Pile, Bristolian Tom Stringer, light maker Tom Kirk and new mum Clara Hebblethwaite, all of whom ran on 11th March 2012.

While battling with injury, freezing temperatures and dark morning training runs, Team Stan are hoping to raise a terrific sum of money for a very good cause.

Stanley Hebblethwaite, son of Ben and Clara, was born with a rare lung condition which was caught in time for him to be operated on when he was just 18 days old.

The specialist treatment and knowledge of those he met at Kings College Hospital meant that the op was a success and he has brilliantly bounced back.

This is Stan's family and friends way of saying thank you to all those who helped save his young life and help make it possible for the Intensive Care unit in Kings to continue to work compationately and effectively.

Team Stan is appealing to you- its nearest and dearest- to give what you can.

As you can no doubt imagine, Intensive Care is a scary and upsetting place to be for all, but one that his parents found at Kings to be incredibly high tech and run by very on it and supportive professionals. We want to support this specialised unit so as to enable it to keep doing the amazing job it does.

Much love and thanks
