CLIC Sargent
CLIC Sargent helps children and young people with cancer and their families with the trauma of diagnosis, the often long journey through treatment and continues to support them afterwards. Every day 10 families are told that their child has cancer. Diagnosis often comes as a shock. Treatment usually starts straightaway and can last up to three years. CLIC Sargent is there with clinical, practical and emotional support, every step of the way.

Our customers and staff need little encouragement to link arms and come up with creative fundraising ideas which have already helped us, as a Company, to raise over £3 million for CLIC Sargent, our company charity.

With CLIC Sargent nominated as the official charity for the 2010 Virgin London Marathon, it seemed only appropriate that 20 of us decided to do our bit (names above) so we have all signed up to run this year’s Virgin London Marathon in April for CLIC Sargent.

We come from all areas of the business and we are all training really hard to make the marathon day a success, and no doubt one that we will remember for a long time to come!

We would like to welcome you all to not only donate money via this site, but to support one of our local pub fundraising events and, of course, to come along on the day to cheer us on, our pub the ‘Liberty Bounds’ is the official CLIC Sargent cheerpoint where all family and friends will be meeting.

With your help we are aiming to raise a staggering £250,000!!!

And your support will really make a difference!

Watch this space for regular updates on how our training is going . . . .
