Royal Trinity Hospice
Royal Trinity Hospice is the UK’s oldest surviving hospice and was established in 1891. Trinity aims to provide excellent palliative care, including medical, emotional and practical support to any adult suffering from a terminal illness in central and south-west London. We aim to provide patients with a holistic care programme, free of charge here in the hospice or in a patient’s home, depending on where an individual wishes to spend their final days. We are here to help patients to live every moment and maintain as much independence as possible, and we assist their families and friends during such a challenging time. Trinity’s work is divided in to five main areas: - Community care to patients in their own homes and care and residential homes - Inpatient services for those whose needs cannot be met at home - Outpatient services - Family support for those close to our patients - Bereavement services

Thank you for visiting our team's fundraising page for the 2017 Royal Parks Half Marathon.

Dominic Adamson, Elizabeth Gallagher, Scarlett Milligan, Nicholas Moss, Ellen Robertson, Manon Rowlands and Matthew Waszack (and Sam Lund, the Hospice's Medical Director and Nick's wife) will be running through Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, St James's Park and The Green Park in support of our nominated charity, Royal Trinity Hospice, which provides excellent support and care for those with terminal illnesses and their families.

The cost of these services is £12 million per year and currently less than 30% of that comes from the NHS. For the remainder, the Hospice is dependent on fundraising to maintain its current levels of care.

Please sponsor our runners as generously as you are able to.

Thank you for your support.

Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.
