As research experts, we specialise in funding world-class, pioneering research at leading universities to find preventions, treatments and a cure for dementia. We believe science and innovation hold the key to defeating dementia and invest in the scientists learning more about the condition and its causes. Our findings improve the lives of everyone affected by dementia now and in the future. We forge partnerships with Government and other key organisations to make dementia research a national priority. If you are not sure what this is about, we are raising money for the Alzheimer's Research Trust by:
1. Donating all the profits from the sale of our Alzheimer's, Dementia and Care at Home products for one month.
2. Running a blogging competition - to enter you just need to make a donation (you decide how much you donate!)
Alzheimers is a horrible disease which affects 820,000 people in the UK and 5.3 million people in the US - and has and is affecting some of the most brilliant minds in history. Research shows promise, and has already lead to solutions which slows down the pace of the disease - yet miniscule amounts of money is being poured into researching the disease.
