Great Ormond Street Hospital Childrens Charity
We need to raise about £100 million every year to help rebuild and refurbish Great Ormond Street Hospital, buy vital equipment, fund pioneering research and support important patient, family and staff support projects, to ensure every child at Great Ormond Street Hospital receives the world-class care they deserve.
Porchlight
We're proud of our 40 year reputation as Kent's leading homelessness charity. We work in the community to address people's housing, social, economic and health issues and improve their wellbeing. We make a positive impact on adults, children, families and communities as a whole, helping around 5,000 people a year. We have supported accommodation projects in Ashford, Canterbury, Dover, Ramsgate, Sittingbourne and Tonbridge, homelessness prevention services and a dedicated rough sleeper team. We provide long term solutions so that people can develop the confidence and self-esteem they need to move towards a more positive future. For more information please visit our website www.porchlight.org.uk
WaterAid
WaterAid is an international charity. Our mission is to overcome poverty by enabling the world’s poorest people to gain access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene education. For a gift of just £15 WaterAid can enable one person in Africa or Asia access to these basic services.

Hi, thanks for visiting our page. On 8th June we set off on the daunting pursuit of a world circumnavigation by tandem bicycle, taking on 18,000 miles, 30 countries and 6 continents.

We have chosen 3 brilliant causes to support on this journey, who's work changes the lives for many both locally and internationally. These charities are; Porchlight (which will receive 34%), Great Ormond Street Hospital (which will receive 33%), and WaterAid (which will receive 33%).

If you would like to find out about the 3 charities, please visit our website, or find out more through Virgin Money Giving.

Please give generously, it means a great deal to us and will be the fuel to push us on during our sometimes dark days on the road.

Through Virgin Money Giving, donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this.

If you would like more information on our record attempt, please head to our website www.thetandemmen.com, which will give you all the details about our ride plus links to our social media and blog.

We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations.

Yours,

George and John
