QPR in the Community Trust aims to inspire change by providing projects based in the local community that will have a positive outcome on participants health, education, social inclusion or sports participation. We are no longer just football based but have a multi activity approach to challenge issues faced in disadvantaged or deprived areas of West London. We wish to use the power of the Football Club to forge stronger and deeper connections with the community. Our focus is on creating progressive, vibrant hubs of sporting and social activities leading to enhanced life experiences. We wish to be innovative and creative in tackling issues facing the community. Many of our projects are delivered in partnership with organisations to have the greatest impact. Here are some examples of our recent work: Kickz: Targeted at young people aged 12-18 indisadvantaged areas - the aim is to create safer, stronger communities. It tackles anti social behaviour and low level crime through partnerships with LA, Housing Associations and youth offending teams. Not just football focused offers boxing, street dance, basketball, encourages volunteering and provides routes back into education, training and employment. QPR Tiger Cubs on partnership with the Down Syndrome Association we provide children and young people with Downs Syndrome the same benefits of being on a team as their able bodied peers. Study Support Centre offers a six week after school study support programme with the aim to improve numeracy, literacy and ICT skills run in partnership with H&F Council and DfES. Roadwise rangers: teaching road safety to children in White City. Extra Time: Social Club for the Over 60s offering activities, cultural meals and day trips. Breakfast clubs: tackling obesity though sport and a healthy breakfast to start the day.

Tiger Feet 4 walkers's fundraising page
Hi, thanks for visiting our page.
Following the success of the last three walks to Crystal Palace, Watford and Tottenham Hotspur we've decided to do it all again and spend the morning and hopefully not too much of the afternoon of the 27 October 2012 trekking from Loftus Road to Emirates Stadium prior to QPR's match against Arsenal.
We're doing it so we can raise funds for the QPR Tiger Cubs team. It was set up in 2008 for children with Down's syndrome to help them improve their overall physical, social and emotional health.
With only a handful of similar clubs in existence in the London area, girls and boys travel from far and wide to take part on Monday nights.
All the money we raise will go directly to the team to cover their expenses and help them with future projects.
Whichever club you follow, please dig deep and support the QPR Tiger Cubs. Thanks again.
Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities. Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. We really appreciate all your support and thank you for any donations
