The Muscular Dystrophy Campaign leads the fight against muscle-wasting disease in the UK. We provide free care and support for babies, children and adults affected by muscle-wasting disease and fund world-class research to find treatments and cures, provide grants towards equipment and campaign to raise awareness and bring about change.
Ovarian Cancer Action is the leading ovarian cancer charity in the UK. Ovarian Cancer Action funds research into ovarian cancer, raises awareness of the disease and gives a voice to people affected by it. Ovarian cancer kills 12 women a day in the UK, and survival rates are low at 40%, compared to 80% for breast cancer. We urgently need to raise £10million for the new Ovarian Cancer Action research centre, at Imperial College London, the UK’s first ever research facility entirely dedicated to ovarian cancer. Thanks to a large increase in research spending on breast cancer, survival rates have increased by over 20% in the last decade. Ovarian Cancer Action believes that, with the same input, we can make a similar impact on ovarian cancer.

Time Etc does Snowdon
Who are we? www.timeetc.co.uk
We are a team of Virtual PAs who save people time (by taking care of telephone calls, administration and well....a bit of everything really) without the cost, risk and hassle of employing someone.
We currently help over 150 business owners and entrepreneurs from the UK and beyond and while we are amazing at most things, namely being super organised and uncanny multitaskers, we feel this year we need to give some more of our love to charity.

What have we done?
On Saturday 7th May, 21 of the Time Etc team climbed Mt. Snowdon via the (death defying) Pyg track. We managed to get the whole team to the top in 3 hours, smashing our target of 4. The first to the blustery peak were Heather & Amy (the power) Power who stormed ahead and made it there in under 2 hours - an amazing achievement.
We conquered 60 mph winds, torrential rain (the whole way), jagged rock faces and teaming waterfalls to make it there but we did it & are so proud to have done so for the 3 worthy charities below.

The charities?
Muscular Dystrophy Campaign…is very close to one person’s heart - our sales guru Tori. Her older sister suffers from the hereditary disease that weakens and wastes skeletal muscles and Tori has first-hand experience of how the research and support provided by the charity can help sufferers and families alike.
The Muscular Dystrophy Campaign is in constant need of donations to fund world-class research, offer free information and advice about care and support and provide grants towards equipment.

Acorns children’s hospice…is a local Midlands charity that offers a network of care for life limited and life threatened children and their families. These children and young people are not expected to reach adulthood and require specialist care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Ceri, our in house marketeer, has a friend that works as a nurse at Acorns and we truly believe their work and the support they offer is fantastic and worthy of your support.

Ovarian cancer action…is really important to all of us at Time Etc. In January of this year Barnaby, our brilliant director, lost his mum to ovarian cancer. Her experience has really raised our awareness of the illness and as we are 70% girls here at Time Etc we support anyone that researches a cure for this disease.
Last year we raised £200 in a bake sale at Time Etc Towers for Ovarian cancer action and hope to raise even more this year for the worthwhile organisation.
