FOE Scotland will be entirely responsible for administering sponsorship donations in accordance with its environmental charitable objectives.

Subject to these objectives, yes2wind have agreed with Friends of the Earth Scotland that the money raised through sponsoring me (John) will be split 50/50 between local campaigning for wind farm projects and national campaigning for renewable energy in general.

This is a fantastic opportunity to raise a significant sum of money that will fund local groups who want to support particular projects but would otherwise be hampered by lack of resources (e.g. printing pamphlets, organising events, booking halls, travelling, etc. etc.)

In 2010 I will be 'running' with my 'winnie' yes2wind costume on - see picture. (I think I'm going to have do a lot of practice getting used to it)

At 53, this will be my 20th year and might be the last time I do this particular race.

Please will you give generously and help promote wind energy for a cleaner and better world!
