Virgin Money Giving and the Virgin Group
Virgin Money Giving Limited is a not-for-profit UK company that forms part of the Virgin Money Group of companies.
Virgin Money Giving is owned and backed by the Virgin Group, but run as an independent company within Virgin.
Our independent board of directors
The Virgin Money Giving board is made up of three executive directors, and three non-executive directors.
Two of our non-executive directors are independent of Virgin and Virgin Money, and are respected professionals from the charity and IT sectors. Meet them here. These directors will change on a rolling 4 year basis.
The third non-executive director and remaining three executive directors are Virgin employees with a wealth of experience in financial services and marketing. Meet them here.
Holly Branson, who has helped develop and launch Virgin Money Giving, is the patron.
A not-for-profit company
As a not-for-profit company, we only charge charities the minimum fees needed to cover our running costs. See our fee structure in more detail.
Should we have any money left over after covering our operating costs, we’ll use it to reduce our fees further or improve services for charities and fundraisers.
To ensure impartiality, the way any surplus money is spent will be agreed by an independent investment committee.
