It’s completely free for fundraisers and donors to use our website – this page details our charity fees.
Because Virgin Money Giving is not-for-profit, our charity fees are just enough to cover our running costs. We ask for a one-off payment from charities when they register with us and take 2% of donations. Gift Aid is reclaimed from HMRC on behalf of charities and passed over in full – we don’t make any charge at all on Gift Aid.
Here’s a breakdown of our charity fees:

The card processing fee of 1.45% applies to all cards except American Express which is 1.6%. But unlike other fundraising sites, we don’t add VAT to any transaction fees.
