Sir Tom Shebbeare
Sir Tom Shebbeare joined the UK branch of World University Service in 1973 before becoming General Secretary of the British Youth Council in 1975. From 1980 to 1987 he was a civil servant, and in 1988 was appointed by The Prince of Wales as the first Director of The Prince's Trust.
In 2004 Tom took up his current position as Director of The Prince’s Charities – the largest multi-cause charitable enterprise in the UK. He is also a trustee of In Kind Direct, UK Skills, The Turquoise Mountain Foundation, Queen’s College London and the School Food Trust.
Tom was knighted in 2003.
Jayne-Anne Gadhia
After graduating from the University of London, Jayne-Anne started her career at Ernst & Young, then Norwich Union. She joined Virgin in 1994 and set up the Virgin One account - a revolutionary mortgage which proved to be a huge success.
The One account was bought by the Royal Bank of Scotland in 2001 and Jayne-Anne moved with it to become Managing Director of the bank’s Consumer Finance Division.
Jayne-Anne returned to Virgin Money in 2007 where she is now Chief Executive Officer. She lives in Edinburgh with her husband and daughter.
Judy Gibbons
Judy has over 25 years' experience in the computer industry, focussing on software, digital media and online advertising.
Before joining Microsoft in 1994, Judy held product development and marketing roles at Hewlett Packard and Apple. She initially joined Microsoft to launch MSN in the UK, and went on to manage MSN Europe, then MSN International, MSN Worldwide and finally became Corporate Vice President of MSN Global Sales and Marketing.
Judy is a Venture Partner at Accel and currently CEO of Mippin, a mobile media company. She is also on the board of Autoquake and the Guardian Media Group.
Judy has been ranked among the top 20 most influential European business women by the Wall Street Journal Europe. She was also listed as one of Time magazine’s ‘People to Watch in International Business’ and received the Women’s Leadership Award at Microsoft.
Jo Barnett
After graduating from the University of East Anglia, Jo worked in advertising and media for ten years before joining Virgin Direct. By 1997 she worked as Marketing Director as the company launched the Virgin One account whilst juggling three young children and a demanding career.
Jo took some time out and set up her own marketing consultancy following the Virgin One account, then moved to Canada for 3 years where she launched her own company.
Jo and her family have now returned to the UK so she can dedicate her time to the day-to-day management of Virgin Money Giving.

Pete Ball
Pete has over 24 years experience within the financial industry, with roles at Marks and Spencer, MBNA, Iceland, Vattech and Bank of America.
Pete joined Virgin Money in September 2010 as Commercial Director and is responsible for growing Virgin Money Giving.
Stephen Newman
Steve qualified as a chartered management accountant in 1995 whilst working for Royal & Sun Alliance. He spent eight years there before moving to a media subscriptions business to head up their business planning team and become CFO of their North American operation.
Returning to the UK Steve joined Virgin Money in 2003 as Group Financial Controller. Steve joined the Virgin Money Giving Board in June 2011 as Finance Director.
Holly Branson
Holly completed her medical training at University College London and joined the Virgin Group in 2008. Holly helped to develop and launch Virgin Money Giving - and we're delighted that she will carry on her involvement as our patron.
Holly takes an active role in supporting Virgin's other social enterprise and charitable work, including Virgin Unite.
