Be safe and be seen with Virgin Money Giving

London Marathon running bib

30 October 2013

  • 5,000 limited edition high-visibility running bibs available for Marathon fundraisers

Virgin Money Giving (VMG) is helping 5,000 of its fundraisers who are tackling next year’s London Marathon to be safe in the dark with a limited edition high-visibility running bib.

Now that the clocks have gone back and places in the Virgin Money London Marathon have been allocated, the bank’s not-for-profit fundraising website – virginmoneygiving.com - is hoping to help those out training in the dark this winter.

One of the fluorescent yellow bibs will be sent to the first 5,000 Virgin Money London Marathon runners to set up and receive a donation via their VMG fundraising page by the end of the year.

Jo Barnett, Executive Director of Virgin Money Giving said: “Hopefully these bibs will be really useful for those who need to keep to a strict training schedule for next year’s Virgin Money London Marathon despite the winter gloom, ensuring they stay safe and easily seen by pedestrians and motorists alike.”
