A great way to raise money is to ask local businesses to provide prizes that you can raffle off at fundraising events – or simply to sponsor you directly on your Virgin Money Giving page. Many businesses will be happy to do this to support a worthy cause and it can also bring their business some positive attention.
We’ve created a couple of letter templates that you can use to help you get your message across.
Template 1 – Fundraising events in the run-up to a main event:
Use this if you’re working towards a big event (like the Virgin London Marathon) but also hosting smaller fundraising events along the way.
