VIP Marathon Prize Package Competition

  1. The 'VIP Marathon Prize Draw' competition is open to all fundraisers who have a confirmed place in the 2012 Virgin London Marathon.
  2. To qualify for the competition the fundraiser must set up (or have already set up) a fundraising page on Virgin Money Giving for this event by the competition closing date. Each fundraiser will automatically be entered into the prize draw.
  3. The closing date of the competition is 29 February 2012.
  4. After 29 February 2012 Virgin Money Giving will identify all fundraisers who qualify and place them in the draw.
  5. The draw will take place after 29 February 2012 and one winner will be selected at random.
  6. The winner will receive a VIP Marathon Package that consists of the following elements:
    • 1 night's accommodation for the winner and a guest in central London the night before the 2012 Virgin London Marathon.
    • Transport for the winner to the start of the event on an official race vehicle.
    • An upgrade to the winner's 2012 Virgin London Marathon place to allow them to start from the Green Start.
    • 2 tickets to the Virgin Money Grandstand and 3 tickets to the Virgin Money post race party.
    • A 3 night stay for the winner and a guest at Virgin Limited Edition's Kasbah Tamadot resort in Morocco, on a full board basis. The prize includes taxes, transfers and return flights to Marrakech (departing from a London airport only).
    • A £500 donation to the winner's Virgin London Marathon 2012 fundraising page. The donation is not eligible for Gift Aid.
  7. The prize is awarded on an individual basis and if the winner is part of a fundraising team the prize will be awarded to the named winner, not the team.
  8. The winner will be notified by telephone or email within 10 days after the draw date.
  9. The winner has 7 days from initial notification to claim their prize, after which the prize will either be reallocated or withdrawn.
  10. The name and county of the winner will be available on the Virgin Money Giving website and the Virgin Money Giving Facebook page.
