More than 5 weeks have elapsed since I registered my charity with Virgin Money Giving and we are still unable to enable supporters to set up their sponsor pages. Our event is now imminent and I really regret changing from Justgiving to VMG. 2 weeks ago, when I expressed my displeasure in a phone call to VMG and asked for a refund of our registration fee, I was told that everything would be hurried up but there is still no progress. Charities thinking of registering with VMG : BE WARNED!

Hi Vin
Thanks for getting in touch through our forum. I'm sorry to hear your charity registration with us has taken a little time.
I've looked into your registration and can see that we received your completed forms on the 11 May.
Once we receive these we pass the Gift Aid Agency nomination form to the HMRC for them to approve us to submit Gift Aid claims on your charity's behalf. It normally takes 7 working days to receive the confirmation back, however in this instance it's taking a little longer.
As soon as we have confirmation from the HRMC we'll make sure your charity goes live.
David in our charity help desk team is looking after this for you, if you have any further questions please contact the team.
