A friend here in the US told me she was not able to use her credit union card to donate. Her bank is First Tech Credit Union from the Seattle/Portland, Oregon area.

Should it be a problem to donate from smaller banks or local credit unions? Her husband was able to make a donation the same day using a Chase bank card.

Sorry to hear they've not been able to donate.

We do accept international cards provide they are either Mastercard, Visa, or American Express.

could ask them to try again, and make sure they fully enter their address when making a donation. If they still are unable to donate if they email theteam@virginmoneygiving.com with details of the error message they receive our team can look into it for you.
