We have had a few queries from our fundraisers saying that their sponsors would like to use PayPal to give their donation.
Will this facility be available in the future?

Thanks for your message,

We are looking into alternative payment methods that donors can use to donate to charities through Virgin Money Giving, and PayPal, amongst others is one of those.

We’ll provide an update in this forum thread when we have more news.

Would I be right in assuming that this isn't exactly on the priority list then?

I mean, it does not take six months surely...?

I only just signed up and already loads of people have asked me one question: 'Can't I use paypal?'.

Makes me wish I could support the charity by using a different site but the charity seems to want to have it this way, through this site.

Please get support for paypal as it is ridiculous! It has to be the most commonly used payment method online and for a site that is collecting money for charity then to not have such a payment method is a real BIG let down.

Adding PayPal as a payment option is definitely still on our list of future enhancements for Virgin Money Giving.

We're working through our features requests developing those we're asked for the most, or deliver the best value for our member charities.

We're always looking for feedback, and suggestions on features our users would like to see added to Virgin Money Giving.

As soon as we have more on PayPal we'll post back in the forum.

It is totally outrageous that PayPal is not accepted by the site. JustGiving is far superior for this reason alone.

This is the 21st century; please realise this.
