We've scheduled a report so that the weekly payment of funds by VMG to us can be easily matched to our bank statement, and thought that the report would be emailed to the relevant person when run...but have just found out that it isn't emailed, but instead posted into the reports folder.

It would be much more beneficial if the report could be emailed straight to the person who scheduled it - as if you have to log into VMG to get it then it sort of makes the point of scheduling it mute, you could just go in and run it. Receiving it as an email would save time for the income processing team concerned - so if this could be looked at as an option going forward that would be great.

Many thanks

Hi Dawn,

Thanks for your post.

We take the protection of personal data very seriously, and have a policy within Virgin Money Giving and other Virgin Money group companies that we do not use email to send any documents or files that contain information relating to the personal identity of individuals. Going forward we will be looking into ways of allowing email distribution for reports that do not contain personal data.

Best wishes

James

Hi,

I too believe that if we receive an email with the data (report) that would be great, VMG can supply data with password and username to retrieve the data or a link that takes you straight to your account.
