It would be great if the was the facility to add captions to photos in the gallery - would communicate to donors more effectively

I agree, the gallery is great but a bit one dimensional without captions. Would be nice to see this added at somepoint.

Thanks for your suggestion, its a really good one. I'll pass it onto our IT teams and see if we can bring through the photo captions as part of a future enhancement.

We've got some great new features coming to our fundraising pages very soon, I'll post back in the forum with more details when I can share them.

One further thought. We are delighted with our new VMG page - thankyou - but have certainly found Picasa problematic to work with. Its time-consuming to operate and instructions appear not to register. Would you consider a different system as a future enhancement?

Glad to hear you're getting on well with your Virgin Money Giving Page.

When choosing a gallery tool we looked at all the options that were available and selected Google's Picasa. Thanks for your feedback though, we'll make sure its passed on.

If we added other photo gallery options in a future udate to the sitewhat would you like us to add?

e.g.
- Flickr integration
- Facebook integration
- Direct photo uploads to Virgin Money Giving

Sorry for delay in reply! First choice would be direct photo uploads to VMG, then facebook integration.

Hi, I know this is a few months down the line from the first posting of this but i'm just using VMG for the first time. I am enjoying using this facility and agree captions would be very useful to explain things/people in pics and also finding Picasa problematic to use and only able to load 1 pic at a time or it crashes and i've tried it on a couple of pc's and laptops and the same keeps happening, therefore very time consuming.
Overall VMG is a very useful tool thnx.

You can upload your photos directly to an album on picasa if you're having issues.

Go to http://picasaweb.google.com and sign in with your google account. You can then return to your Virgin Money Giving page and select the album with your photos.
