Hi, A bit of feedback.
Generally I love it and I think it is great. Especially the low overheads.
The reason I am writing here is that I have just added the Facebook app which is a great idea. I have about 100ish friends (a modest number.... billy no mates!) and yet I can only invite 16... YES! SIXTEEN of them to donate via the VMG facbeook app. WHY?? it seems crazy. Looks like I may be able to invite more people tomorrow :-\
Other points:
I would like to be able to email my donors and keep them posted. Can;t find a way.
I am running a team page and want to know about all donations, not just those donated to me.
biggest Plus point actually is that I can raise funds with others and we can split our donations as we like between more than one charity.
Cheers

Hi Dave
Thanks for your feedback, glad to hear you like the ability to support more than one charity from your fundraising page.
The Facebook application invite limit isn't something we're in control of. In February 2008 Facebook made a change to how applications were able to handle invitations. There's a variable daily limit depending on how people use the application.
There's some info about this on Facebook's Blog.
Facebook introduced this change to protect users from applications that force you to invite people before you use it(which we don't do with our application). The daily invite limits are set based on how people respond to invites (whether they click the Accept or Ignore button).
I like your suggestion of being able to email people who have donated, I'll pass this onto our development team, and see if it can be considered as a future improvement to the site.
Thanks for your feedback, we're always looking for ways to make Virgin Money Giving even better. We've got some changes coming very soon, and many of them are based on feedback we've been sent in.
Best of luck for your fundraising
Antony
