Dear Richard,
Congrats on becoming the London Marathon sponsor 2010. This is my first ever marathon and I'm stupidly excited! Your team seem to be doing a fantastic job too and having just registered my VirgingMoneyGiving fundraising page, I'm a very happy bunny all round.
There is one thing however that's been troubling me. You see, I'm running for Children With Leukaemia a charity that is important to me since my friend Maddie got diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma last year. I need to raise £2,000. I imagine in all the hoo ha that will have come when Virgin took over from Flora that some memos went missing. However, at the end of last year, Flora kindly offered to sponsor me £50 to help support my fundraising efforts and as of yet, I haven't received anything.
Can you please check the small print of the agreement Virgin have with the London Marathon? I'm sure it must mention this agreement in there somewhere. Probably right at the bottom. That's where all the important stuff usually is.
I know you're very busy (you're doing the marathon this year too aren't you? I don't know how you fit it all in!) so don't worry too much - there are still 32 days left until the big day and I'm raising funds up to three months after that. You should probably double check all this with Flora too. I mean, I could just be anyone.
Anyway, I look forward to hearing from you,
Holly x

Hi Holly
Thanks very much for your forum message, I'll pass it onto Richard's people for you
Checked out your fundraising page and you've made a great start already, I like the suggestion one of your donor's has made about 'Pogoing across Antartica' we'd love to cover your story while you do that..
Best of luck for the Marathon, and your online fundraising, we look forward to seeing you on the race day.
