Ieuan Evans Memorial Fund
Why we need your help
Ieuan Evans Memorial Fund is a Special Named Fund at CCLG raising funds for research into neuroblastoma.
At the beginning of September 2018 my gorgeous, sweet, funny and loving baby boy was diagnosed with neuroblastoma after finding a mass in his belly. He was just 21 months old.
We were immediately taken to Noah's Ark Children's Hospital and after many tests we found out it was a rapid stage 4 cancer and started chemotherapy within a few days.
Ieuan was so brave and handled every test, prod, medicine, needle and procedure the best he could but it was heart breaking to see him in so much pain. We made his stay more comfortable by spending lots of time with him watching films, colouring, playing and allowing him to eat lots of goodies. On his last few days he had our undivided attention and got to enjoy the things he loved.
Unfortunately, two days into chemotherapy Ieuan’s little body couldn’t cope and he passed away. Our world was torn apart! Our whole family, especially his twin sister Bronwen, will always have a missing piece in our lives. He is dearly missed every day.
Please help us raise awareness and funds in Ieuan's memory to fund research into neuroblastoma and other children’s cancers, with an ultimate goal of one day finding better treatments and finally a cure!
