Share the Joy of Music
Why we need your help
Can you imagine a Christmas without music?
This festive season, please reflect on the joyful and moving experiences you’ve had at Ulster Orchestra events, and make a donation in support of our Learning & Community Engagement work – including Wellbeing Workshops, which bring the joy of live Classical music directly to people in care homes, healthcare and other settings.
Delivered in partnership with community organisations to help identify groups with limited access to music, small groups of Ulster Orchestra players go into these settings to introduce and perform a selection of pieces, followed by refreshments and chatting. The Orchestra also organises a series of popular Tea Dances for older people, as well as the award-winning Move to the Music scheme (supported by JTI), which provides free access to selected Ulster Orchestra concerts to people over 70 living alone in rural areas. These programmes are of vital importance, especially at times of the year when many older people feel lonelier.
Your donation to the Ulster Orchestra – in any amount – will help to ensure that the comfort and joy of music is shared with those who need it most, in the lead-up to Christmas time, and all year round.
Every gift makes a difference! Please donate today!
