YMCA BC Sleep Easy 2020

Why we need your help

When: Friday 6 March 2020,

Where: intu Merry Hill Shopping Centre

Registration Fee: £10 (under 16s) and £11.50 (16 and over)

Sleep Easy is a YMCA fundraising initiative, raising money to help change the lives of vulnerable young people. Since the event began in 2010, over £1m has been raised by hundreds of people who chose to sleep rough for just one night.

Each year we ask individuals, teams from local companies, groups of friends and students to sign up, join in and help raise awareness of what is a growing issue in the Black Country; youth homelessness. Last year alone our emergency Nightstop service has provided more than 1500 beds, and has had to turn young people away due to the increase in referrals.

Whilst Sleep Easy is a challenging and eye opening experience, we are sure you will appreciate just how tough this is for young people facing the prospect of sleeping rough night after night in freezing conditions and in fear of their own safety.  Together we can make a difference.
