A Grace Ministry
Why we need your help
In July 2018 William Musisi Muhindo shared, with Ian, a vision he had for a ministry that would support the many orphans in his area of South Rwenzori
He formed "A Grace Ministry for a Moses-Like Generation" to carry this out. The vision is to:
- Bring psychological healing through counselling and guidance sessions
- Empower the enrolled youths in gainful employable and marketable skills
- Give the young people an education through scholarships and contributing to school fees.
He recruited a board of trustees/directors and volunteers to run the programme, identify the neediest and most suitable young people and work with them as they progress through their education.
25 young people (3 in tertiary institutions, 4 at primary level and 18 at secondary level) had their school fees paid in 2019 at a cost of approx. £3800 pa.
For 2020 we are seeking to support 35 students. It is hoped that more people will grasp the need and the vision so that more orphans and more young people in poor single-parent families can get a good education and know they are loved by God.
Can we, one day, reach the initial target of William's to support 100 young people? The need is great.
A Grace Ministry is a restricted fund, managed by Ian Smale. All monies donated to this campaign will be paid to A Grace Ministry.
