The Two Point Six Challenge for CRY

The Two Point Six Challenge for CRY

Why we need your help

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a catastrophic effect with the cancellation of thousands of events and the loss of billions in income through fundraising events. So the organisers of the London Marathon have designed the 2.6 challenge to help save the UK's charities.

The 2.6 challenge is a simple and easy way for the nation to come together on Sunday 26th April (the orginal date of the London Marathon before it was postponed) and fundraise for their chosen charity by doing any activity or challenge they wish to.

To join in all you need to do is dream up an activity based around the numbers 2.6 or 26 and set up a fundraising page linked to CRY by clicking on 'Start fundraising' on this page! When asked 'What are you doing to raise money?' search for 'The 2.6 Challenge', select the event and continue with setting-up your page. All sponsorship can be allocated to a memorial fund or ringfenced memorial fund if requested.

You might decide to do 2.6-mile dog walk or a 26 km bike ride, juggle for 2.6 minutes, do 26-star jumps, dance for 26minutes, walk 2.6 km around your garden, or maybe get 26 people together for a video yoga class, the choice is yours. #TwoPointSixChallenge

Whatever you decide to do, we are incredibly grateful for your kind support!
