YPACF 10th Anniversary Fundraiser

10 years ago Young People and Children First (YPACF) opened its doors to care leavers and homeless aged 16-25.  As with all charities, Coronavirus restrictions have hit our charity hard.  Please support this fundraiser to ensure that we can continue to support our Young People in West Berkshire and surrounding areas for the next 10 years.

We are asking you to help us raise £10,000.  Please either donate £10 (more if you wish) or start fundraising yourself by doing 10 activities between 1st - 10th June 2020 for our 10th anniversary and the 10 years to come!

Our Young People come to us from a care environment or are homeless.  Most have suffered trauma such as abuse and/or neglect with over half suffering from a diagnosed mental health illness.  We provide a caring family home, including face to face emotional and practical support both day and night.  We support our teenagers and young adults as they navigate through difficult, dark and emotional times on their way to independence.

We are rewarded by seeing our Young People go to university, complete apprenticeships, go into full time employment, start a family, and most of all, become confident and independent adults.
