LDNE Lucky 13 Challenge
Why we need your help
On Sunday 13th September it would have been the 40th Great North Run, and we were really looking forward to cheering on our amazing team of runners that were signed up to take part in the Mini, Junior and main race in aid of LD:NorthEast.
It was absolutely the right decision to cancel the event to help keep everyone safe, but it does mean that we will lose out onthe much needed funds that would have been raised this year to support our work.
So that's why we're introducing the LDNE Lucky 13 Challenge!
All you need to do is set yourself a challenge based on the number 13 and complete it before Sunday 13th September. Your challenge could be anything from running, walking or cycling 13 miles, to reading 13 books in 13 days or even baking 13 cakes to deliver to family and friends.
Whatever you decide to do please make sure you stick to the current Government guidelines around social distancing, etc.
