Charity Walk for Free Respite Care
Why we need your help

The money raised by our Charity Walk supports our Free Respite bed which aims to help those caring for a sick partner or relative in their home. Fundraising is vital to Horsfall House to continue this Free service.
Our 2020 Charity Walk WILL BE A SOCIALLY DISTANCED EVENT and a walk of approximately 10 miles (or 3-4 miles if you can be collected from Avening) around Minchinhampton, Gatcombe and Avening. As usual, the walk includes Gatcombe Wood and the gardens of Avening Court by kind permission of their owners. The route is unsuitable for pushchairs or toddlers but dogs on leads are welcome and we recommend that you wear walking shoes or boots. All walkers are required to check-in at Minchinhampton Library between 9.30am and 1.00pm and we will still be there to welcome you back until 5.00pm. Unfortunately, because of Covid Security, Avening Social Club is closed and there will be no minibus transport on this occasion.
