Derek Spence Inspiring Talk 25th March
Why we need your help
We are delighted to launch our Inspiring Talks series which features people who have excelled in their fields and achieved success in tackling and overcoming significant challenges.
Our first talk is on 25th March at 7pm where we will hear from Derek Spence who has completed the infamous Marathon des Sables (MdS) three times - a multistage ultra-marathon in the Sahara Desert described as the “toughest footrace in the world”. Last year Derek rowed across the Atlantic in the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge – the toughest rowing race in the world! Derek will share some of his experiences and talk about the challenges of endurance events and what motivates him.
The live event will be held on zoom and will last up to 1 hour which includes the talk and a live Q&A session.
