Skills for Life Appeal 2017: We are raising money to develop a programme for children aged 9-12 to help with transition to secondary school and adolescence with the skills needed for positive mental health.
This would be an opportunity to equip children with the skills needed for positive mental health as they make the transition to secondary school - with all the challenges to mental health and anxiety that this period can bring (e.g. increased academic pressure, puberty, social media, new and changing friendships).

Our Skills for Life 2017 Appeal is raising money to invest in new programmes for 10 - 12 year olds to help them to become mentally and emotionally healthy.

We know that children in this age group face new challenges as they reach adolescence and move into secondary school. We can't change this but we can help children to develop the skills they need to cope with life's difficulties, to understand and manage their emotions and to develop resilience.

All donations up to a total of £50,000 will be matched pound for pound during our Skills for Life 2017 Appeal which will run until the matched funding is exhausted.
