The New Forest Marathon Community Fund supported by ABP Southampton aims to promote physical activity and a healthy lifestyle within the local community, where we provide grants to contribute towards community projects and community groups. Just some of the local community groups that we support range from:

-Brownies and Guides

-Beavers, Cubs and Scouts

-Youth Police, Air, and Army Cadet Forces

-Sports Teams

-Dance and Cheerleading Clubs

We help local community groups complete activities that they may not have had the opportunity to participate in before, all of which promote physical activity and a healthy lifestyle. We also help to fund projects which promote wellbeing as well as helping to contribute towards much needed equipment for good local causes.

For this year’s New Forest Marathon on Sunday 8th September 2019 we hope to raise £10,000 for the New Forest Community Fund which will be generously match funded by ABP Southampton. Every penny will go back to the local community to help fund projects, activities and to purchase equipment for groups to promote physical activity and a healthy lifestyle.

Please help us to achieve this target!

We rely hugely on donations from very thoughtful members of the public, generous runners of the New Forest Marathon and also from the kind support of ABP Southampton.

Thank you to all that have helped so far and to those who are running for the New Forest Marathon Community Fund!
