St Paul's Marylebone - Raise the Roof
Why we need your help
St Paul's Marylebone has launched the 'Raise the Roof' campaign to secure a sustainable and lasting future for our work.
'Raise the Roof' will replace our existing roof, which is old, patched-up, and leaky, with a new, long-lasting, watertight roof, protecting our building for generations to come.
At the same time, we are adding photo-voltaic panels, to generate electricity from the sun, and insulating the roof spaces, to create an eco-friendly and sustainable future.
This ambitious project will cost £300,000. About £200,000 is already available from a generous legacy and historic reserves. We are seking to raise the remaining funds from individuals, community groups, and all who support our mission.
£500 will pay for a solar panel.
£10 will fit a new slate tile.
And on 5 June, members and friends of St Paul's will walk from St Paul's Cathedral to St Paul's Rossmore Road via 26 historic London churches, in a sponsored marathon pilgrimage to raise funds. Please support us.
St Paul's Marylebone is a place where the commnity comes together for sport, learning, music, fun, and much more. We are based in one of Westminster's most densely-populated and deprived wards. We hope you can help us secure our future by supporting 'Riase the Roof'.
