Contributing to the local community is the culture of Endeavour. The mission of this campaign is to support young people from disadvantaged backgrounds by helping them lead healthy lifestyles. We believe every young person deserves a decent meal!

An additional benefit of the campaign is to enable young people to study for Vocational Qualifications in Catering and Hospitality.

Endeavour’s brand new Teaching Kitchen will be up and running from September.

It features 8 teaching stations, each with hobs, oven, sink and space for preparation and storage, plus an extra space at the front for the session leader.

The Kitchen was built thanks to grant funding from various partners.

Now that we have the kitchen built, we are looking for donations to help us run sessions in the Kitchen.

It will be used for the following:

  • Teaching young people how to cook cheap, healthy meals and learn independent living skills
  • Training young people in catering skills and help them gain vocational qualifications
  • A space for young people to work on catering social enterprises

Donation Amounts:

£5 would pay for ingredients for a small group to cook a healthy lunch

£10 would cover the cost of a food hygiene certificate for one learner

£25 would pay for a specialist tutor to come and lead a session at Endeavour

We are also running a Combat Sports Event to coincide with this campaign on Saturday 15th September 2018 1-5pm

About Endeavour

Endeavour works with disadvantaged young people (aged 13-25), mainly those who are struggling in school, have learning difficulties and/or trouble finding employment.

We offer programmes of personal development, education and social action to help them face their problems, tackle them head-on and succeed where they may have previously failed.

We believe every young person deserves a positive future regardless of their past.
