Why we need your help

Great Ormond Street Hospital is a place where seriously ill children from across the UK come for life-changing treatment.

Founded in 1852 and is renowned as an international centre of excellence. It’s dedicated to children’s healthcare and to finding new and better ways to treat childhood illnesses. Through carrying out research with the Institute of Child Health, University of London and international partners, GOSH has developed a number of new clinical treatments and techniques that are used around the world.

Every day brings new challenges at Great Ormond Street. 618 children and young people from across the UK arrive at the hospital every day. Every day doctors and nurses battle the most complex illnesses, and the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs.

This extraordinary hospital has always depended on charitable support donations to give seriously ill children the chance of a better future and fulfil their potential….and this is where we at Lifetime come in!

Our aim for the next year is simple: raise as much money as we can whilst getting as many Lifetimers involved in possible.

The Great Ormond Street Hospital charity supports the hospital and young patients by funding four key areas and with our additional support they can:

•    Rebuild and refurbish the hospital
•    Provide children and family support
•    Conduct vital research
•    Buy essential equipment

From office based to out and about we want each and every one of you to give it your all, get involved and gather up the troops to help Lifetime reach its partnership fundraising target of £10,000.

Our charity and volunteering page, Giving Something Back, on FUSE is now packed full of events we have planned to take place throughout the year that you or your teams can get involved in. You don’t have to wait for these to be organised, feel free to organise them between yourselves. We’ve also built a number of fundraising packs to inspire you with how you can take part and there is a link to our corporate Just Giving page where you can other sponsor teams and individuals from across the business as well as set up your own pages to collect donations. This way all funds are tracked and go straight to GOSH.

We want to get as much competition going as possible, either across sectors, departments or teams so have a think about how you can get to the top of the leader board and bring in the most cash.

We are so excited to be working closely with GOSH and supporting their charity with as much as possible.

A better future for seriously ill children starts here!
