We are the Domestic Violence Intervention Project (DVIP), a division of Richmond Fellowship and part of Recovery Focus, an expert group of charities inspiring recovery nationwide.

We provide innovative domestic violence prevention services to increase the safety of women, children and young people across London and help break the cycle of abuse.

We deliver specialist programmes to help perpetrators stop being abusive, support the recovery of survivors and help young people and children be safe in their homes.

Today, we are one of the UK’s largest provider of domestic violence perpetrator programmes and the first organisation in London to develop and deliver a range of specialist services to all members of families affected by domestic violence. Every year we help over 1800 adults, young people and children.

Dear DVIP,

I hope you are well. I wanted to share my success story with you.

A few years ago I attended your sessions for women who experienced domestic abuse. It was the beginning of my success story.

From there on things only got better. I have been in many court family proceedings for my son and now he is safe and is doing really well. As for myself, I have completed my degree and I am looking forward to developing my career. I hope to turn my negative experience as a domestic abuse survivor and help other women who may be in a similar situation.

I am enjoying my life. I love me now. I can see a bright future ahead…. And your organisation was instrumental in helping me get there.

Thank you so much for helping me pick up the pieces.

Gratefully yours,
