Dear Friends and Family,

Once again, Sue and I would like to thank all the generous supporters of the 2018 Elodie Sandford Explorer Award for Amateur Photography, which was awarded to Eleanor Flatt in May for her wildlife conservation project in the mountains of Peru called Exploration Sira.

As always, the SES Explorer Awards ceremony was well attended by a wide array of professional and amateur explorers and other supporters to celebrate the six young and inspirational Pioneers with Purpose receiving their various Explorer Awards, including Eleanor.  Paul presented our Award to her father as she was already in country setting up camera traps.

Sue and I are very proud of this Award, and the work of the SES and their Selection Committee. Hand-on-heart, if mom were still alive today and heard about either of our past award recipients we expect she would have sent them herself!  We will continue to underwrite the Award by pledging £4,000 per annum, but we would like to see the Award grow to make even more of a difference and are again asking for your help.

If you feel you are able to support us, no matter how big or small, may we ask that you do so as soon as possible.  We are aiming to collect all donations by November 15.

Please make your donation in GBP, and for those in North America, leave the post code box blank.

Thank you for your generosity,

Wishing you all well!

Sincerely yours,

Paul and Sue

PS - Please note that 15% of any donations will be set aside towards the cost of SES administration of the Award.
