Pavla was supposed to be an intern with GHNI in Geneva for only 2 months in 2008 but continued to rise through the organization to her current role as Assistant Regional Field Leader. Having a master degree in statistics (and as she says, “I studied it just to meet my husband”), so working as a humanitarian worker might not be the most common combination but it works well together with her passion for cultures, people and development.
Focusing mainly on administration in her first five years, Pavla was glad to take a role working directly in the field, doing TCD training and vision seminars. She also focuses her time on recruiting financial partners and potential field leaders. Pavla's willing attitude and tender heart has her shaped well for her role.
