The Jo Cox Way 2019

Why we need your help

The Jo Cox Way 2019

The 4th Jo Cox Way bike ride will run from 24th-28th July 2019.

This exciting cycling challenge begins in the late Jo Cox MPs constituency of Batley and Spen and rolls through the beautiful English countryside culminating in Parliament Square in London 5 days later.

The journey symbolises Jo's personal journey from her childhood in Yorkshire to representing her home constituency in parliament as MP for Batley and Spen.

Through the ride, 40+ cyclists will be connecting communities across the UK using the power of 2 wheels and celebrating the #MoreInCommon values that Rt. Hon. Jo Cox MP championed throughout her life.

Together we are keeping alive Jo's legacy and celebrating the countless selfless activities that people undertake in their communities.

The Jo Cox Foundation

The Jo Cox Foundation exists to to build a positive legacy for the late Jo Cox MP.

Its vision is a kinder, more compassionate society, where every individual has a sense of belonging and where we recognise that we have more in common than that which divides us.

The Jo Cox Foundation inspires and galvanises positive change at local, national and international levels. They do this by partnering with visionary individuals and organisations who share our commitment to the fairer, kinder world that Jo committed her life to building.

The Foundation works locally to foster strong communities in the UK, nationally to build a better public life and internationally to stand up for vulnerable people around the world.

We have exciting plans to continue growing and deepening this work in the years to come to help build the kinder, tolerant world that Jo committed her life to.

We are incredibly grateful for all of your support and for keeping Jo's legacy alive.

Well done! to the bikers. If Jo had lived, in my view it is likely that she would now be making a huge contribution - a huge positive contribution - towards solving the current political mess. We must never forget "Better Together!!"
