Disabled Child's Beach Wheelchair

Why we need your help

Beach Wheelchair Campaign - Target £4,000

We are so lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the world with our fabulous, clean beaches.

Everyone loves a day at the seaside and those of you who have small children know how difficult it is to get a push chair in to the sand. Imagine if your child was a bit older and confined to the wheelchair. The sad reality is that you can not access the beach or sea, your child is confined to sitting on the prom watching other children having fun, dipping their toes in the sea.

We want to change this by providing a child’s beach wheelchair (with different inserts) to fill all different sizes and ages.  We are lucky enough to have several adult beach wheelchairs in our area but these are totally useless for children as don’t offer any support.

We are absolutely passionate about being able to get local disabled children to the beach, they can be pushed into the water and get their feet wet, be pushed along the sand and have a lovely day our like their friends.

Please support us and let our children access our beautiful beach.
