Thames Row

Why we need your help

On Sunday 29 September the Bounce Back team will take to the River Thames to row 12 miles from Hammersmith to Greenwich as part of Regatta London - the UK’s first mass participation paddle sports event, created to raise funds and to celebrate the environment.

The Thames Barrier will be closed for the day to offer this unique experience for participants to row through the heart of London, with no tide and no other non-racing boats.

They are currently grafting away training - please donate to show your support.

Regatta London has been founded by Tideway, the company building London’s super sewer. Currently under construction for completion in 2024, the 25km tunnel will help clean up the River Thames from sewage pollution. Regatta London compliments Tideway’s ambitions to reconnect London with its river, and to bring it back in to use for commercial, sporting and leisure activities.
