2020 RideLondon 100
Why we need your help
Team Prevent Breast Cancer are taking on the Prudential RideLondon 100 again in 2020.
This year our team of dedicated cyclists will tackle the 100-mile cycle. They will start from Queen Elizabeth Park in East London and will ride through the surrey hills before eventually reaching the finish line on The Mall. They aim to #pedaltoprevent and fundraise as much as they can to support Prevent Breast Cancer and all the ground-breaking research done at the Nightingale Centre.
As many of you may already know Prevent Breast Cancer are the only UK charity entirely dedicated to the prediction and prevention of breast cancer. Unlike many cancer charities, we’re focused on preventing, rather than curing. By promoting early diagnosis, screening and lifestyle changes, we believe we can stop the problem before it starts. Our purpose is simple: to create a future free from breast cancer. Thanks to better predictive tools and early intervention, we truly believe that for future generations, breast cancer will be a thing of the past.
1 in 9 women and 1 in 1,000 men in the UK will develop the disease in their lifetime and across the UK, 55,100 people annually are diagnosed with breast cancer. Tragically over 11,500 women do not survive. This is why what we are doing is so important. We’re a small charity with a big mission, to prevent breast cancer for future generations
Please donate as much as you can to our amazing team of cyclists! Together we can prevent breast cancer.
