Raising Money for a Mechanical Horse

Why we need your help

Gaddesden Place RDA is launching a fundraising campaign to buy a mechanical horse for the centre.

We are always looking at ways to develop and evolve our centre and offer the broadest range of opportunities to our current and future riders, and the purchase of the mechanical horse would fulfil this objective.

The Mechanical Horse (MH) is a computer-controlled simulator that closely mimics the movement of a real horse.  It has five speeds from walk to canter.  Riders can  navigate around an ‘on screen’ environment and can learn the basics of riding or maybe fine tune some of their skills.

It will offer many benefits to the centre:

Increase the number of riders accessing an RDA activity & reduce our waiting list

Offer a more intensive, tailored therapy to current riders, expanding their skills and confidence

Positively impact the centre’s revenue stream

This is an exciting new development for Gaddesden Place and means that we’re able to continue to offer the best facilities we can to our existing and new riders.

But we can’t do this without your help.

Thank you for your continued support of Gaddesden Place Riding for the Disabled
