Help our Angels get their kit on

And restock their essential supplies that they carry across Windsor to help the vulnerable.

Our Angels carry all their kit on their backs... all of it. This appeal is to raise the funds we need to provide our kit and ensure our volunteers have everything they need when out and about across the town centre. This appeal is to enable us to replace much needed kit to keep our Windsor Street Angels well stocked and prepared.

Our rucksacks and trolley are crammed full at the start of each shift to ensure we have everything we may need in the event of an emergency.

On an average shift we carry:

  • defibrillator - a literally life saving piece of equipment to help shock a heart back into rhythm in the event of a cardiac arrest.
  • A first aid kit  - full of everything we may need from basic plasters to a sharps kit
  • 30 pairs of flip flops to help anyone who cannot bear their heels any longer - walking bare foot increases chance of injuries so flip flops help reduce medical intervention
  • 20 bottles of water for anyone feeling dehydrated and for essential first aid
  • Soup, Coffee and sandwiches for the homeless and rough sleepers
  • 50 lollipops - our signature item, guaranteed to make you smile!

Our volunteers all wear waterproof high vis jackets, gillets and fleeces, designed to make them visible and keep them dry whatever the weather.

This appeal is to purchase much needed replacements of our uniform, many of which are now over five years old and no longer waterproof and to top up our essential kit that we use each and every week.
