Cranleigh Riding for the Disabled

Why we need your help

Please support the three cyclists who will take part in aid of our charity in the Prudential RideLondon events on Sunday 4 August 2019.

Our aim at Cranleigh Riding for the Disabled (RDA) is to give the opportunity to horse ride to both children and adults with a wide spectrum of disability, for therapy, achievement and to have fun.

We operate with the help of a very large committed number of volunteers and as a charity we do not ask for fees and rely entirely on donations.

So all the money raised by these riders will go to meeting the costs of the upkeep of our ponies at Casi's Farm, Cranleigh and creating the right riding conditions and environment for over 200 riders through the year to participate safely and happily.

Please recognise these cylists efforts and help us make a difference to the lives of those who come from all over Surrey and parts of West Sussex, whether it be with a school, Care Home or individually, to ride with us.

 Colin Davies

I and my wife have become  affiliated with Cranleigh RDA through our daughter. She was fortunate enough to have the experience of volunteering at Casi's Farm for the past 9 months as part of her Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award. She has found it such a rewarding experience that I wanted to give something back and participate in the RideLondon 100 bike event to raise as much money as possible to suppport their remarkable work. I am fortunate enough not only to have seen what my daughter has gained from being part of Cranleigh RDA, but also the excitement and joy on the faces of the kids who ride and the benefits they gain from the facilities the group provide.

Robert Moorehead-Lane

As for me I have been doing triathlons since 1999 and Ironman Races. Whilst in the USA I regularly rode in the Alabama Back Road Century series which are a set of 100 mile rides.  Having said all that I have not been on my bike since October 2017 so this will not be a Sunday afternoon ride for me at all!

Henry Sayers

I have been horse riding at Casi's Farm since February 2017 on a Saturday morning and it has been a lot of fun. Thanks to all the volunteers who make this happen.

Please dig as deep as you can in supporting us to raise as much as possible for Cranleigh RDA.  Thank you.
